Beautiful work, Em.

Gorgeous! I wish you'd add some instructions on how to layout a decent one-piece cover. I'm struggling and struggling trying to get it right for the POD edition of Corvus.

I can't decide it that cover is scary, beautiful or a bit of both.

Love it, love it, love it! And really like the quote!

It certainly serves the purpose of the cover - letting the audience know EXACTLY what they're getting! Well done.

Ooh, that's lovely!
Do the photographer and designer get a credit? Jacket designers never seem to get any publicity. Perhaps you could post about them.

Looks like a scary Cure album cover, funny that hey Em?

Thanks all!
Lexi: photograph cost £4 from Istockphoto. Design is all in house i.e. me and Anna. Anna did the swirls and the original fonts layout (see the first book in the series, Maneater); I did the image and the quotes and stuff.
Lee: we're going to start running cover design courses which I'm going to announce properly soon. Maybe I'll make the notes from that available for free. Or you can pay and come to the training course!

Your covers are just brilliant. Really. This one makes me want to hide in the corner.

I'm very impressed...

I am overwhelmed by the brilliance of this cover, as you can imagine. Thank you, Em, thank you, Anna.

The notes from such a course would be great, Em, but I'm starting to muddle my way through GIMP on my own. Just discovered the clone tool, for example. And the cover is all about snow ...
This time round I've decided to issue the POD version of Corvus at the beginning of serialisation for those who can't wait. And the podcasts are good (professional actor who supports my ethos.
