Is it wrong?

To really, really want to start a Snowbooks online magazine with only days to go before having a baby - just because you've found the perfect Wordpress theme template?

Not wrong. Ambitious perhaps. Arthemia is another theme on similar lines - personally I found it a little easier to work with than Mimbo, though that might just be me. There's also a useful article on magazine-style themes here.

Will it have those two pretty oriental boys in it..?

Intriguing idea, which we all know will be beautifully designed, but a magazine succeeds on it's content - will it be non-fiction, fiction or a bit of both? Will you be carrying advertising? At the moment, the whole magazine sector is in a decline - advertising revenue is dropping, along with readers/subscribers.
Also, would you both be able to handle the extra workload of a (semi) regular publication?
Anyway, I'll definitely look forward to reading it.

Ah, Chris, I am too flighty and whim-driven. I fear such a magazine will never come to pass. Nice idea, though.

Oh, I reckon "SnowZine" would be pretty good.
