This evening I am going to take the brave step of attempting to have a bath. If I haven't posted again here by this time tomorrow, can someone come round with a set of pulleys, an anvil and a good strong rope?

you lucky thing. I'm not allowed a bath for another week in case my new hip pops out climbing in and out. More fun if Rowna popped out...

ooops. Dyslexic fingers. Sorry

It's ok, everyone - don't panic! I got out OK! Call back the hounds, silence the alarums, etc.

How great to find out that I am not the only Snowbooks author old enought to have an artifical joint. I hope it's healing well, Sarah, and that you're doing your exercises.x.
Em, not long to go now...

Two new hips by Christmas, Sue, all being well. The old ones are the best ones - apparently Salman Rushdie said recently no-one should write a novel before they're fifty.

We really must have a Snowbooks party one of these days so all authors can meet each other. Who knows what else you might have in common?

A liking for Champion the Wonder Horse?

Champion / The Wonder Horse
Champion / The WonnnnDerrr Horrrrse!

Indeed, Sue.
