Ha - no, that is so mean!!!
I think nerds hate critical theorists because they just don't understand us! Theory people have to be extra cautious that what they say makes sense because every single claim is up for grabs. Everyone's a critic. Of course there are some people (like Nicolas Royle imho) who talk a lot of nonsense. Or just obfuscate so much that they might as well be.
