Wheee! Susan Hill's Novel of the Year
posted by Emma on 19 Dec 2007
How utterly wonderful - Susan Hill has selected Sarah Bower's The Needle in the Blood as her Best Novel of the Year! Best Novel! Of the whole year! That's mighty super.
Of the whole year! I'm going to go and have a run around the garden.

I am in awe of you, your writing and your success, Ms Bower. The most I can hope for when Fast Work is eventually published will be a meagre mention in the Peak Advertiser.

Great news! It couldn't happen to a better book - or person.

Really, Ms. Howe, I'm sure the Peak Advertiser is a distinguished publication. And it is print. Needle never got a single print review! Thank you for your kind remarks and I hope you have a white Christmas up there in the hills.

Well done, Sarah! May it lead on to huge publicity for your book. You deserve it.
