How do you explain to a town cat that she's going to have her own field?

Feed her some field mice?

Show her the photos, Emma.

Best wishes for your move. It looks fabulous!

When we moved to the country, our large cat was totally freaked out for a while, and would walk to heel around the garden. I suppose it may have been agoraphobia or the tranquilisers from the plane journey wearing off, but I think it was just the shock of the wide open spaces.

He really found himself when he caught and killed his first shrew. Since then it's been a charnel house around here - shrews, mice, voles, moles, birds and one weasel.

All this to look forward to!

My cat "hated" the freedom that moving the the country have her... that's until she found out how much fun it is to chase mice :-)
