Important Publishing-Related* Petition
posted by Emma on June 9, 2007 08:13 PM
I should like to start a petition for the following things:
- For Carey Mulligan to immediately be installed as the new Companion.
- For Steven Moffat to write all future Doctor Who episodes.
And it didn't even contain that much David Tennant. Who'd (heh) have thought such a thing would be even barely passable? Genius!
Please sign your assent in the comments and I shall send to the BBC on the morrow.
*Er, not really.

Gets my vote too. Feisty, fun and easy on the eye.
Great script too - actually scary as well as involving - and who wouldn't like the "big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff"?

Best yet! If i wasn't a tough, hard counter terrorism detective i'd have spent a sleepless night worried that a weeping-angel-alien-thing was hovering above the bed, thankfully i am fearless so i didn't... honest... i'm tired... mummy!

I really think Russell T Davies should step down as head-writer: the best stories for me have been from the likes of Moffat and Paul Cornell.
And apparently Moffat is only doing one episode next year, and Cornell none at all. :-(
As for Carey Mulligan for companion, then if the rumours are true then the TARDIS would become an all-female domain.

It's about time we had a female Doctor.

What a fabulous episode! I thought the preceding double-header had been pretty darn fine (I think Russell T Davies has a fuller sense of the depth of the Doctor myth than Moffat), but this latest episode was superb. Great move mostly to keep the Doctor out of it.

Hear hear and a big AMEN from me!
Sally pretty much epitomized what a companion should be for me... and Carey Mulligan did an absolutely fantastic job!
And if the Doctor won't take her... I will!!!

Brilliant episode. One of the best along with the Satan Pit. It scared the living daylights out of my non-doctor who fan friends at a sleep over party. we didn't get much sleep after that

I should say so, if they are not going to keep Martha Jones then bring in Sally (actually i'd rather Sally but only just ) but please Catherine Tate, Kylie!!. The phrase jumping the shark comes to mind.
