Snowbooks authors

We have an exceptional stable of authors. Some are established in other countries before being snapped up by Snowbooks; others we have worked with on their debut, second and third novels. Read more about them here by browsing the list on the left. This section of Snowbooks.com is relatively new, and we will be adding lots more author information throughout the course of 2008, so check back for news on your favourite authors regularly. Information here will include insights into how our authors research and write, questions for reading groups, photos of the authors' workspace, scans of their original notes, early drafts, new short fiction and more!

Latest author news

Image:productSarah Bower has had her debut novel, The Needle in the Blood, selected by Susan Hill as her Best Novel of 2006. This is the latest accolade from the blogging community for Sarah's novel: Dovegreyreader, Random Jottings, Eve's Alexandria and more have praised its language and evocation of the time of the Norman Conquest. Responding to the announcement on Susan's blog, Dovegreyreader said: "Yeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I knew you'd choose Needle, yippeeee. Faultless book and fandabbytastic read, congrats to Snow and Sarah. I was beginning to think there was no justice in the world but who cares about Oranges and Costas and Bookers now?" We couldn't agree more, DGR.
