About Blindfold Game
In Thailand, two men hire a pair of international pirates to smuggle mercenaries and equipment aboard a freighter at a Russian port, bound for North America. In the Bering Sea, the crew of the U.S. Coast Guard cutter Sojourner Truth is busier than usual, catching fishing vessels on the wrong side of the line. In Washington, D.C., CIA analyst Hugh Rincon hears rumours about black market sales of Russian radioactive material and military equipment, but he can’t get anyone else to listen. Then Hugh learns that his estranged wife is on board the Sojourner Truth, in the front line against a plot to attack America. The chase is on...
About Dana Stabenow
Dana Stabenow was born in the then territory of Alaska in 1952, and raised on a 75' fish tender occupying Cook Inlet and Prince
William Sound. She wrote when she wasn't seasick. Ms. Stabenow still lives in Anchorage. Presumably this is why she has such
excellent insight into the Alaskan scene. Following the dictum of writing about what you know best, Dana Stabelow has won
awards for twelve other Kate Shugak mysteries about Alaska as well as three books in another series featuring a fictional
Liam Campbell. One can't help but speculate that time away from Anchorage, spent perhaps in the Alaskan wilderness, gave rise
to still another series - the third - of books Dana Stabelow has written which take on the vast infinity and adventures in
fictional space, highlighting Star Svensdotter. Whatever she turns her literary mind to, Dana Stabelow is a find, with a rare
talent for immersing you completely in both her characters and scenery.
