About Andrew Sanger
Andrew Sanger is an award-winning freelance journalist and travel writer who has lived and worked in several countries, including Greece, India, the USA, and several years in the Languedoc region of southern France. He has contributed to a wide spectrum of print and online publications, including most UK national newspapers. For ten years (1990-1999) he was the editor of French Railways' popular travel magazine, Rail Europe. In recent years, his articles have appeared in Sunday Times holiday supplements, mass-market women's magazines such as Bella, inflight and customer magazines, as well as in the Jewish Chronicle, Moneyweek, and several major travel websites. In addition, Andrew has written some thirty travel guides, especially to France and French regions, but also to Ireland, Belgium, the Canary Islands and Israel. In 2007 alone, he worked on seven travel titles, including a new English edition of Michelin Green Guide France, on which he was the principal writer. Andrew Sanger now lives with his wife and child in NW London, where he is chairman of an active local residents' association. In 2005, he published LOVE, a novel of the hippy years, on the US publishing website Lulu.com. J-WORD, exploring secular Jewish identity, is his second novel.
